The PA CareerLink Blair County Greeter’s purpose is to provide service and receptionist duties to support the Pennsylvania CareerLink System.  The Greeter screens and routes customers and phone calls, answers questions and inquiries as appropriate, creates and maintains spreadsheets and databases, and assists customers with needs.  The Greeter organizes and participates in projects to enhance the PA Blair County CareerLink’s level of service.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant - (Production/Environmental)

Expected Results: Provide administrative support to Pulp Mill, Utilities, and Environmental Department personnel in general office functions, file maintenance, database systems, projects.

Supporting Activities: • Perform general office functions to include answering phones, distributing mail, making copies, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. • Maintain Pulp Mill, Utilities, and Environmental Departmental files and the associated databases. Function as a focal point for collecting, organizing, filing for all departments. • Manage all aspects of Pulp Mill and Utilities scheduling: to include weekly, holiday, vacation, rosters, trade shifts, and training schedules. • Purchase department supplies. Required Prior Accomplishments, Experience, Skills: • High School Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis or background in administrative responsibilities, database development and control, and filing systems. Additional administrative training, education, or certification is preferred. • 1-3 years working in an Administrative capacity is preferred, with excellent knowledge of Administrative procedures, offices techniques, and use of office equipment. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook) with special emphasis on the accurate development and manipulation of spreadsheet data. • Experience with Time and Attendance system is preferable, preferably Kronos. • Ability to quickly learn and use newer technology (e.g., ipads) as information distribution methods. • Analytical ability to collect and present a wide variety of information and to locate materials and information as requested. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, numerical aptitude and strong secretarial skills; develops own correspondence and routine correspondence for those served. • Must be detail oriented; need to adhere to strict timelines and deadlines. • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast pace environment with changing priorities. • Team player with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with all levels of staff and visitors. • Self-directed, proactive and flexible.
